Privacy notice

This website is informational. It describes the psychotherapy services offered by Sarah Cushing, Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO #15706), and how to book a consultation.

Nothing on this site is psychotherapy, diagnosis, medical advice, or crisis support. Reading the site does not create a therapeutic relationship. If you are in crisis, call or text 9-8-8, call 9-1-1, or go to your nearest emergency department.

This site does not ask you to create an account, and it does not store client records. When any website is visited, the hosting provider automatically processes basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, for the purpose of serving the site and keeping it secure.

Anything you choose to type into the inquiry form stays in your browser until you press send, at which point it is placed into a message in your own email application. It is not saved to a database on this website.

Do not submit diagnoses, symptoms, trauma history, medication details, or other personal health information through the website or by email. The inquiry form is for scheduling and administrative questions only.

Clinical information belongs in session, or in the intake paperwork provided through the secure practice management system once you become a client.

Consultation and session booking happens on Jane, a third-party practice management platform. When you click a booking button you leave this website and continue on Jane.

Any information you enter there is collected and handled by Jane under its own privacy practices and its agreement with this practice, not by this website.

Pressing send on the website inquiry form opens your own email application with a draft message addressed to sarah@liminalbloomcounselling.com. You choose whether to send it. Nothing is transmitted until you do.

Email is convenient but it is not a guaranteed secure channel. Messages can be intercepted, misdirected, or read on a shared device. Please keep email to logistics.

This website does not run advertising trackers and does not sell, rent, or trade any information.

Standard hosting logs and any built-in platform analytics may record aggregate, non-identifying details such as page views and error reports so the site can be maintained. If analytics tooling changes in a way that affects visitors, this notice will be updated.

Once you become a client, your clinical records are handled under Ontario health privacy law and CRPO requirements, and are described in the consent documents you receive at intake. That is a separate document from this website notice.
